george + tony collins

anybody know what george + tony collins are doing now,both didn"t fulfil their potential then disappeared after losses at british/commonwealth level

Both benefitted greatly from hype/astute match making.

George Collins was meant to be some sort of child prodigy but never converted that promise to the pro ranks.

I vaguely remember Wally Swift jnr bursting Tony's bubble?

No idea what they are up to now.

Tony was a nasty individual, who I think got into trouble outside the ring (surprise, surprise). George had talent, but was too one-paced.
They were gypsies, I believe.
Perhaps Michael Sprott would know what they're up to these days, also coming from Reading.

Yeah, TC was a piece of work from what I remember – and seemed realy full of himself.

LMAO when he vaulted into the ring for a fight, fell over, then lost the fight. He'd been banging people over but when he stepped up got found out. Same with George. Both very young and possibly put in too deep, too early or not given decent enough tests to improve.
