Barney to fight in OZ

By Clive Bernath: Southampton's Matthew Barney is to make the first defence of his WBU light-heavyweight title against Australian Jason Delisle. An official date has not yet been confirmed but Barney's new promoter Robert Waterman told the British Buzz that the likely date is either June 4 or 11 in Melbourne Australia.

Is it true that after beating Cokey Oakey, Barney called out Roy Jones Jnr?

So I heard....

Furthermore did anything ever come of that 'discrimination' charge against the BBBoC (Matt is a pikey) that was mentioned on here a few months back? Not heard anything since on it.

Looking at the fight itself i would not be surprised if his opponent Jason Delisle beat him, what is he like Bollocks? He got KO'd in five by Danny Green which is no real disgrace and lost a majority to respected OZ fighter Paul Smallman which he later avanged by TKO.

DeLisle has a lot of heart and loves to get in wars , Against Green this was stupid but he is in with a chance against Barney.
