Kelson Pinto Hits Town
Ricky Hatton gets a first close up look at his opponent this morning, when they meet at the press conference in Manchester.
It was reported on the radio this morning, which is unusual, maybe the hype is catching on?
Anyone going to be there? Post photos here please 8)

The closer it gets the more intrigued I am about this fight. Could be that we've a really good scrap on our hands for however long it lasts. I'm going for Hatton purely on experience but you never know, Pinto could turn out to be a sensation. Remember when Paul Hodkinson was hammered by the unheralded Goyo Vargas way back? Fair enough Vargas flattered to deceive but on that showing he looked a real find. You never know with an undefeated guy. I mean, he's got good form and it sounds like he comfortably beat Emanuel Burton who's no mug.
Saying that, you could flip it the other way and be like the time when undefeated prospect Daniel Alicea floored Naseem Hamed, only to get flattened in the second. That was a shame because he looked a good fighter and he never recovered from that. Really thrown in too deep too early.
I'm looking forwards to it. More so than Ricky's recent fights, purely on it being a step into the unknown for RH against a fresh, tall puncher. I've always felt the right hand to be the shot to beat Ricky. Don't know what Pinto's is like.

mate you are .........thems the breaks tho Ive kinda resingned myself to it being a stand in now, that way I can only be nicely surprised.
This could however stop me travelling out of London for a fight in the near future which would a be a shame but I dont have the time nor money to waste.
Sods law innit.

Yeah, I know what you mean mate, lets hope it turns out ok, I'd rather have a stand-in than no fight at all 'just'.J wrote:mate you are .........thems the breaks tho Ive kinda resingned myself to it being a stand in now, that way I can only be nicely surprised.

Ive planned this for 2 friggin months. Bro's bday too.
At this moment in time gutted is not a word that does my emotions justice....

no shit sherlock.
I cant believe it is though Bennie is an extremely reliable source and most of what he posts is true and I would say all of what he posts he thinks is true at the time of posting. So its sure not a wind up from someone here.
But like you say we dunno, Vince didnt arrive til the thurs did he, could be Pinto playing mind games you just dont know do you for 100%, take it you are going then KoeJoe?
