Just found the best boxing song!

Post by el_grande_mauro_mina »

A song - a tribute to 'Irish' Mickey Ward called 'The Warriors Code'
by the 'Dropkick Murphy's' (Like all things truly Irish are from Boston
Mass :TU: )

Never heard of them but they are big in the states - I like it - a stomping tune to be sure!

Scorcese used their excellent cover of "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" in The Departed.

Yep, that was just beyond terrible - should have just left him with his normal accent & said he was an expat..no brainer.

A great tune.

Forrest Griffin, the new UFC Light Heavyweight champ, uses it as his entrance music.
