I assume you are the man himself?

I was just curious about your upcoming fights, if you have any on schedule. Also, what do you consider your style to be, boxer, boxer/puncher, brawler, etc. What could you tell me about the Mahone fight as well?

Thanks........ :TU:

we are waiting for confirmation from dkp to fight in the usa sep 11 and oct 13, i really hope it happens as thats where i want to make a name for myself.

my style was pure brawler early in my career, but for my last fight i boxed, so i can be versatile depending on my opponent.

the mahone fight was one i asked for,he was in nz sparring with shane cameron, nz promoter ken reinsfield told me he was surprised i asked for it, i was considered an easy win for mahone till he got another big fight, but i watched him growing up and i knew his style and how to beat him, the fact that he had a name in the states was what made it really attractive to me, I got in a great prep sparring with pieter cronje and lawrence tauasa and boxed his ears off.I have no doubt they expected me to stand and trade like i used to and it was a big shock when i used my hand and foot speed.

here are some highlights

good video, well produced. It looks like you are thinking past being a pure boxer also looking at the self-marketing aspect. Smart move.

Love to have seen you keep the left a little higher, but it probably didn't matter that much against Mahone. Good core strength shown allowing you to duck and weave better than the other times I've watched you. You were able to role with the punches well also. All in all the progress looks bloody great, good luck with the states mate. :TU:

Easy to slag someone off on a forum. Most of us think Mark's doing pretty well. Crawl back into your negative space.

have no problems at all with detractors topp, have had many myself over the years but i have always been courteous enough to offer them an opportunity to show me how its done. its amazing the amount of times they say nah its ok. and yes detractors can be ok to keep fire in the belly as long as you know how to use it to your advantage. seen many a man go ass up by losing focus, one not very long back. :o

An 87 KG cruiser landed a lucky bomb. Digger could punch and that was about all he had. Mark odvouisly underestimated him.

To see Mark change his style and look so confident in doing so - is great to see, It looked like he was having fun in there.
I had hoped Mark would have beatup on Hopoate but i take it is a step backwards to where Mark is - at this point of time.

i never underestimated digger, he has dropped mirovic, briggs and close with sol, he just had a style that at the time completely bamboozled me, digger is a geat guy and came into the change room after the fight to give me some great advice, ill always remember that, a cold lonely change room and the only one to come chat was digger. most people gave up on me after that fight but to me it just meant i had to make allot of changes and start again.

my next fight was confirmed today, sep 13 in usa against 12-2 horace ray grant, he recently fought on espn.he is similar to mahone, a big strong guy that plods forward looking to land the overhand right.

Mate why was the Tutaki fight called off recently. Looked like a great night of boxing for WA then your fight was called off and Dawson fought a nobody. Can you shed any light on it ?
