We have some good up and coming featherweights in this country now, Owen,Appleby,Truscott,Lindsay and Bhatia,it bodes well for the future.

Not bad but can become discouraged a bit when things aren't going exactly as he wants them.
He'd make a decent English champion or British title challenger but I couldn't see him beating Mitchell or Johanneson and I'd fancy Burns to outbox him.

Arthur and Cook would be far too good for him aswell, after that who knows.

I haven't seen anything about a Truscott title defence, where and when is it going to be ?, with who as the opponent ?

Until someone else proves it, its Choi all the way. But the sad thing is I think he is pushing forty and the other top feathers(Morris,Appelby,Truscott) will, quite wisely, avoid him like the plague for while by which time he will retire. Shame though - I 'd love to see Choi get a big opportunity of some sort - he hasnt fought since battering Derry Matthews.

Cheers for that, Truscott looks pretty decent to me. Shame he can't hit that bit harder.
With Appleby, Lindsay, Simpson, Morris, Matthews, Owen, Bhatia and Bell around it seems the British Featherweight scene has picked up quite strongly again after a slight lull for a while.

Third'ed. Lindsay is the sleeper in the pack and has the ability to go the furthest IMO. Cracking little fighter.

i was looking at lindsay's record and it looks as if he will be fighting out of canada ???? for thime being. why would a management team take a fighter away when there some good fights in the pipeline at home. i think if he is brought on propperly lindsay could get the same sort of support mcguigan had and also make a few quid along the way

I don't believe it's anything to do with family connections, Steve Molitor's manager is a guy by the name of James Jardine who was born in Northern Ireland and I think it's through him that there is Lindsay's connection to Canada.

Lindsay has been fighting in Ireland, Canada and Britain but I'm not sure whether he'll continue fighting in Canada. He was scheduled to fight for the NABA title against Alberto Garza out there but pulled out of that fight(without being injured) for some reason and at the same time appears to have signed for Haye's Hayemaker Promotions so it could very well men that Lindsay will be kept this side of the water for the foreseeable future. Then again I am just speculating.
