Thoughts on the 'other' Judah

From a betting angle, Judah v Spinks seems best left alone this weekend (though I can't wait for it as a fan).
I reckon a safer way to make a wedge this weekend is to take the -400 on 'the other' Judah beating Julian Letterlough. Saw 'Mr KO' against Jirov and while I admit he is fairly heavy handed, I reckon Judah (with his angles and cute defensive skills) should know far to much for him. Fresher, slicker, and he's a wrong 'un (always a factor in boxer v brawler encounters). Have to admit have not seen much of either (saw Danny v Glencroffe Johnson - who was robbed) so would like your thoughts before doing my dough.

If the fight is made at light Heavy, I would favour Mr KO.
From what I have heard Daniel Judah is the US version of Magic Matthew Hatton, making a career on the coat tails of a far more accomplished/skilled brother.

Not sure about Daniel Judah, heard plenty about him but never seen him fight. He's been very carefuly matched, apart from Johnson he's fought no-one.
Going 10 with Johnson probably means his chin is ok, unlike his brother, but he's in with a big puncher on Saturday.
Though Mr KO does look like he might be on the slide, so you'd fancy Judah to get a points win..........maybe

I've stuck cash on Zab to win at 8/11 - just think he might be too fast and talented for Spinks, but like you say, this one could easily blow up in my face as the Spinks Jinx strikes again.

Isn't fast and talented exactly what Spinks is? I've got him winning this. The way he held his nerve before and during the fight with Mayorga spoke volumes for his character. This is a very confident champion Judah is up against, and one weight up.

Hmmm, you may be right!

It's near enough a 50/50 fight, but I'd give the edge to Zab in both departments, and a definite edge in punching power too. I can see that straight left putting Corry over at some point.
Spinks outboxed Mayorga, but can he outbox Zab too?

Interesting fight. Should be the main event too.

Been beating myself up over Judah v Spinks for weeks now. Was dreaming about it last night (don't tell the missus though eh?) and as a result have had a nice few quid on the man from Brooklyn. The way I see it the ONLY way Spinks wins this is by a tight decision. Judah meanwhile is faster (though not slicker) and punches harder (albeit untested at 147) and so could very well KO Spinks early or late or decision him. Now, should Spinks lose it there are still plenty decent fights out there for him. Should Jab lose there aint many places for him to go so my gut feeling is that his notoriously flippant ring manner wil be switched firmly 'on' Saturday. Also lads, as most of you have this close, it's worth remembering the DK factor here. Remember this is a Don King card and Judah is his man. The Don still can't be happy over how daft Corey made Mayorga look and so may well have left "nothing" to chance here if you catch my drift.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Spinks by decision, because he can hold his temperament in times when it is needed, he showed that against Mayorga and Piccirillo the second time.

Imagine if Zab had faced Mayorga, and made him miss as much as Cory did. By the 10th round, Zab would be showboating to hell, and probably get caught flush and KO'd.
