You didn't say he boxed like Lennox Lewis in that one fight? Or that he would beat Haye? Or that Haye would have lost if he had not KO'd Macca in two rounds?

I said the way he boxed Braithwaite off the jab and following with the uppercuts close reminded me of Lennox's style. I didn't say he would back up his talk like your making up. You seem to hold that against me too much, Lennox Is leagues above btw, I just compared similarities In one fight.

I picked Enzo and got the pick wrong which everyone gets a wrong pick at one time. Haye was looking drained at Cruiser previously and was sluggish against Mormeck and Frag. You can hardly use a wrong pick against me, most of you got your fight picks wrong and I couldn't use that against you.

Haye might of lost after the two and possibly gassed out but In the end he won easily. Haye Is a known fast starter, he slows down as the fight drags on and that could be used against him.

You guys are doing the same stuff with Haye like you did with Hatton before Floyd stopped him, which sounds like any different opinion seems to lack any civilness when disagreeing.

All fighters do that, JC made a career of fighting bums with a decent WBO rank. I don't think Haye can be accused of targetting easy-touches either.

You obviously misread me, I didn't say Haye has had easy touches(well Bonin was, so they didn't mess up the cruiser shots which was right to do). What I said was he could use a ranking to justify an easy touch like they used Bonin being WBC 11 to justify that fight. Audley was WBC 14 as well at one time and he's an easy touch for a top fighter.

JC did fight alot but he also fought alot of good opponents too.

If anyone recalls, Haye had called out Mac and said something like, "eff your WBO title, you can keep it and I'll still knock you out, then I'll fight Mormeck." He couldn't come to a deal with Warren, Mac goes on about how he's "signed to fight Haye 2/3 times already". And Haye ended up having his heavyweight fight vs Bonin, a shrewd move - given Bonin was WBC#11 - giving him a world rating at heavyweight, and teasing us with his heavyweight power.

It was more than just playing the ratings game, because he convinced quite a few ppl that he might be a better fighter, and better off at heavyweight.

I think Mac did something like fighting Bobby Gunn or Mohamad Azzaoui, which were totally meaningless.

Surely if you're not interested in Margarito grinding down Cotto, then you're not interested Joe flailing vs Hopkins?

Hoped he beat Hopkins which he did but was a horrible fight to watch and I knew Hopkins was past It so It was nothing more than a money win for Joe so had a little bit of Interest but not much.

Was more pissed at Hopkins cheating and I don't normally get pissed off watching fights.

Yeah Joe does get reckless at time but he has great boxing ability when he uses It and has the fast handspeed to go with It like vs Kessler and Lacy.

Margo always fights that way he did vs Cotto.

I mostly just want Joe to fight someone fresher than Roy mostly since he's better than to reduce himself to fighting seniors even at 36.

Im not sure it was a strategy - Calzaghe himself says he under-performed, but that Hopkins constant hugging and cheating made it difficult to have a fluent fight. The Hopkins fight is a bit of anomolie in this respect - he nullifies fighters by using tactics outside of boxing rules and by spoiling and holding. This has clearly brought him success in the past, but its a limited strategy, hence his five losses and his lack of fans. I think if Hopkins had of been willing to fight more, he would have had more chance of winning in a sense, but ironically, would have provided Calzaghe with more openings, thus, nullyfying any increased chance he might have had. Either way, Hopkins was never going to win the fight, even with the flash knockdown, which gave him a nice cushion of points.
