Re: Dick Young-Larry Holmes Question
According to the Associated Press 2-12-1991:
"Larry Holmes, the former heavyweight champion, has settled a four-year-old lawsuit with the widow of the New York sportswriter Dick Young, whom Holmes had ejected from one of his sparring sessions.
Holmes and Josephine Young agreed to a settlement after five hours of talks mediated Friday by United States Magistrate Robert Johnston in Las Vegas, Nev.
Dick Young filed suit after he was ejected from an April 15, 1986, public training session, before Holmes's rematch with Michael Spinks. Holmes said he had Young removed from the training session after he became loud during an argument with one of Holmes's brothers."
Also, from an AP report published in Stars and Strips 4/17/1986 (p. B2):

Re: Dick Young-Larry Holmes Question
Apparently Young's attitude to Holmes changed when Holmes refused to take a girlfriend of Young's on to his staff, from then on Young was very critical of Holmes, culminating in the above incident.
