Between programs the Discovery Channell sometimes shows short features of inspirational (I guess) people. Last night there was one of a former African professional fighter, I just don't have a clue who it was.
Clue 1: he's seen showing of an IBF Intercontinental title
Clue 2: he said he had to retire after going blind in one eye, which he said occurred in a fight in Prague 2003.
I'm sure they said in the intro who it was, I just happened to miss it. Can anybody help????

Sounds like Commando Kalekuzi...
He popped up in Kenya one year claiming an unbeaten record in a dozen or so fights in Congo although there were no known fights having taken place there for years because of a civil war going on.
He then ended up in South Africa and tore through there also.
I always wondered how come he stopped fighting...

I think you are correct. Thanks. I remember Kalekuzi from fighting a few times on Eurosport years ago.
