Naz wants to knock 'em both out...
Naz on this Saturday's world featherweight title showdown between Michael Brodie and Injin Chi: "I am looking forward to watching a great fight. I hope Mikey wins but I want to knock 'em both out."
Yeah, he's coming back all right.
Yeah, he's coming back all right.

I can't reveal the source, Chambers, but it's bona fide. A genuine quote from a genuine fighter.Chambers wrote:Bennie where did you get this Naz quote from?bennie wrote:Naz on this Saturday's world featherweight title showdown between Michael Brodie and Injin Chi: "I am looking forward to watching a great fight. I've been thinking something similar :) It would probably be better he came back at a slightly heavier division than before if not only for potential match-ups.Ben Keilty wrote:11 stone maybe he should come back and fight Hatton for the WBO 140 title.steve689 wrote:If he returns then let's hope he is not as one dimensional as his performance against Barrera showed him to be. I hear he is weighing in at around 11 stone these days?
I don't think so he was usually giving away height at his original weight at 5 ft 3.Matchfixer wrote:I've been thinking something similar :) It would probably be better he came back at a slightly heavier division than before if not only for potential match-ups.Ben Keilty wrote:11 stone maybe he should come back and fight Hatton for the WBO 140 title.steve689 wrote:If he returns then let's hope he is not as one dimensional as his performance against Barrera showed him to be. Some of you guys need to cool it you're beginning to sound like lovestruck schoolgirls. I can't be the only one who remembers Hamed saying he wanted to KO Barrera and he wasn't 3 years of inactivity (punctuated by that Calvo fight) further away from his peak like he is now. Also spending most of that time around 20% over his fighting weight counts against him.
I wouldn't expect him to fight other than a lucrative exhibition in Yemen. I hope he doesn't for his sake, the humuliation that awaits him will take a shine of the obviously fond memories he left with a lot of people.

Whether or not Hamed will be as good as he used to be I don't know. But at least we will have a fighter who can at least compete with the world's best, and is willing to do it. Calzaghe, Hatton and Harrison have kept their arses in Britain, why the Yanks say their shit.
With Hamed back we will have someone to boast about.
Pacquiao, Barrera and Marquez are getting knocked out. 8)
