i did a full length interview but it didn't record properly!!!!
but still got some good info. I got the impression, Ndou is a strong possibility for June 5th.

He posted a thread below, Adam, in which he said there would be excuses made by the Hatton camp to avoid a Mitchell showdown on June 5.adamiw wrote:why, what did he say?bennie wrote:Riddick Blowe was right.
Nice article, by the way.

man i fucked up the recording, i rescued it just about. I spoke to him for about 10 mins, but in the end had to remember what he said from memory!bennie wrote:He posted a thread below, Adam, in which he said there would be excuses made to avoid a Mitchell showdown on June 5.adamiw wrote:why, what did he say?bennie wrote:Riddick Blowe was right.

We've all done that.adamiw wrote:man i fucked up the recording, i rescued it just about. Nursing a chronic hangover, he had to phone Finnegan and carry out another interview.
Here we go again!
Asked why Junior Witter wasn’t given a chance as the late replacement on Saturday, Ricky responded ‘He had his chance against Pinto, and shat himself quite frankly.’ After all the things Witter has said about Hatton, Ricky doesn’t feel that he deserves a chance ‘out of principle’.
MMmmm thats one way of looking at it suppose.
But there is a chance that many people are always goint to say "Well Hatton never fought Witter" if this fight doesn't happen soon? Surely it's a fight most UK fans would love to see.
As for Lovemore Ndou, another small Light-Welter who I can't get too excited about.

Nice article, by the way.Harry Mullan once interviewed Kevin Finnegan in a pub and couldn't understand anything that Kevin said to him next day on tape due to the background noise.

I'm a big Hatton fan but his choice of opponents is realy starting to bore me.bennie wrote:I mentioned Lovemore N'dou would probably be the next opponent on another thread (seriously). Hatton likes fighting opponents beaten by Sharmba Mitchell first (Phillips, Tackie, etc) - but won't fight Mitchell himself it appears.
N'dou fits the bill age-wise for Hatton, too. He's 32.KOJOE90 wrote:I'm a big Hatton fan but his choice of opponents is realy starting to bore me.bennie wrote:I mentioned Lovemore N'dou would probably be the next opponent on another thread (seriously). i think ndou is a good choice. He's better than phillips and tackie IMO, but still a level below Mitchell (despite their close fight). It's a good progression. I sad before that jumping from tackie/phillips to mitchell is two steps up, and warren usually likes to take his fighters along one step at a time, matching Hatton with Lovermore would do this.
Just to make sure Mitchell's camp get the message, allegedly's right hand man Frank Maloney is having a real go at Gary Shaw with respect to the Harrison-Abdelyan fight on May 29, but keeping Hatton away from the big boys is Maloney's real agenda.
Maloney stated: "He (Shaw) referred to Scott Harrison as being limited in the ring and a one-dimensional fighter.
"But Gary is a fat, uncouth Yank who thinks he owns the world of boxing. He is the worst of the worst. A loud-mouthed, brash New Yorker who's in charge of a fighter who doesn't want to fight."

It's always nice to see our top UK Boxing people acting in such a mature, dignified and proffesional manner isn't it?bennie wrote:Just to make sure Mitchell's camp get the message, allegedly's right hand man Frank Maloney is having a real go at Gary Shaw with respect to the Harrison-Abdelyan fight on May 29, but keeping Hatton away from the big boys is Maloney's real agenda.
