McCoy is bored with seeing all & sundry in the press & on the forums working themselves into a frenzy over the tubby trash talker

No doubt Naz was a great fighter from the early to late nineties, but for people just to assume that he is gonna come back & immediately whup Harrison & Brodie(yep, thats what the great McCoy has been hearing) is an insult to the two aforementioned fighters

Lets face it folks, while Harrison & Brodie have been moving at a good pace & beating top 10ers, Naz has been stuffing his face & eating like one of the three tenors!(guess who?)

Who knows how good Naz'bursting at the seam's chins will be, will he still be able to take a good shot?

Does a 30 year old Naz still want it like he once did? There is no doubt Naz is a hungry fighter, but doughnuts aside does he still have the desire?

Also, in McCoys big humble opinion Naz never realy looked the same after his thriller with New Yorker Kevin Kelley

Naz looked pretty poor in his fights after he faced Kelley(except vasquez & Bungu) & got schooled by Marco Antonio "whose your daddy" Barrera

Of course Barrera is a great fighter, but it was just surprising at how one sided their fight actually was, Marco showed that textbook boxing skills could beat the Prince, making Naz pay for his leaky defence & bad balance without having to get outta first gear

McCoy would be foolish(hey that doesnt sound right!) to write Naz off completely as he was one of the best punching featherweights this handsome bastard ever seen

BUT

Naz has been inactive for three long years, & hadnt looked great in the four years leading up to that time, so its far from a formality that he will just come back & whup ass!

Its now time for McCoy to go & do the cha cha slide

I agree with you, but he does add excitement and with only one or two warm ups, he would beat that overrated bum Scott Harrison into submission!

Agreed, but I wouldn't mind seeing Hamed vs Marquez, Pacquiao, Barerra, Morales, Chavez, Freitas, Casamayor, Corrales and maybe even InChin Chi.

I agree with Mcoy's stance, I for one have never said or thought that Hamed would come back and beat all the top guys, in fact I guess it's likely he would struggle to even beat a top 10 Featherweight now after being steadily in decline for 3 years and then virtually inactive for a further 3, I would say Brodie and Harrison are favourites to beat him.

Especially as I would say both Harrison (especially him) and Brodie are capable of mimicking the Barerra style to a degree.

However a Hamed comeback would still be quite exciting, he does generate that.

I disagree with Goz, I don't think Hamed would beat the fighters I listed in the earlier post. Infact I see him getting brutally exposed - however, Brodie is a little too vulnerable for my liking and doesn't nothing truly special (not saying he's not world class for his weight, I just place him along the lines of Clinton Woods at Light Heavy).

Brodie does everything well, but nothing great. He's also not a particularly strong feather.

However, technically Brodie is better than Harrison but one factor Harrison has that is truly elite is his size and strength. Its styles that make fights and whilst I give Brodie the edge to outscore Harrison, I certainly give the Scotsman a better chance against Hamed than Brodie.

Hamed would need a warm up bout first of all.

I do believe Hamed can get to the level he was before Barerra, he didn't have a particularly hard career and I do believe he has lived well (no major drinking habbits, drugs etc). However, in hindsight I think its fair to say that Hamed was always a little overated and the guys I mentioned in the earlier post I would tip to beat a physical prime Hamed (and comfortably aswell).

The list that Bennie did about Hatton's title defence (showing the advantages pre fight Hatton had) can be done for ALL of Hamed's title defences - barring Medina.

Very true love him or hate him he does generate intrest and excitment, just look at the amount of threads across Boxing sites about his possible comeback.

anyone who can punch will cruise past harrison, he is too easy to hit.
he is big and strong at the weight but that doesnt transfer into his punching power, he stops men by attrition rather than one punch ko`s like hamed.
his opponents are carefully selected to avoid concussive punchers.
that last fella who`s name i`ve forgotten seemed to be dominating the fight then lost interest very suddenly.
if that fight would have been in the 30`s-50`s everyone would have cried fix.
