Did anyone get theirs this week?
I didn't the newsagent says it's because of Easter holiday but i never saw anything saying it wouldn't be out.

That's a great record from a great publication, although it sounds like the printers and distributers need a slapping from time to time.

Longest running that is for sure. Mirror of Life was before it, Ring started in 1928 I think

I get it delivered to my doorstep in Dubai. Only gets here on the Tuesday or Wednesday so all the weekend previews are out of date for me, but it's still indispensable (despite my reservations about the editor!).

Don't want to sound like a smartarse or nothing, but they don't put out an edition on Christmas week (well, they didn't this year anyway)

He means that there has been an edition every week unless stated. The Xmas edition was clearly presented as a two week edition.

Regular British ratings. I don't trust the Boxing Monthly ratings, some of their world ratings are a bit dodgy as well.

Bennie, I feel one massive ommission is the lack of post-fight interviews with the fighters/trainers concerned. Every reader is surely fascinated to hear 'from the horse's mouth', and this works well on TV already. the BN guys surely have access to these people yet in my opinion don't exploit this to the maximum (for journalistic purposes).
Conversely, the round-by-round breakdown can become tedious, with the "in round four x hit y with a big right hand, but y hit back later with a good hook" format dragging on occasion.
The recently introduced snippets of gossip from the venue work well though.

All pro and amateur ratings should stay in the magazine like Boxing Monthly. I mean god knows when the last world ratings (amateur) were published. These things mean something to some ppl.
