I'm still here. What'd you know, they turned a blind eye to-you guessed it! a Chinese boxers fouling. As seems to be standard operating procedure here. They're just going to slip as many of these cheaters into the medal rounds as they can to try to beat us at the medal count.

Jim Gray: "Why did you spend so much time running and moving?"
Li Yang: "That was [my] strategy to move and to be more aggressive." (I guess more aggressive on holding his opponent)
Jim Gray: "Were you afraid that you would be penalized?"
Li Yang: "No boxer [is going] to be afraid to [be penalized], everybody is going to fight [do what they have to do] to win the game."

In other words; I wasn't afraid, I knew the ref and judges wouldn't have the balls to penalize me and have me lose in the middle of Beijing.

Well, when facing a Chinese boxer, you know you have to stop them. At least Ray's in the other bracket than Chinese boxer.

If Lomancheko loses, we'll know what's up. That kid can box.

So do I. Did you see them try early on to rob our girls at gymnastics, before their girl screwed up so bad they couldn't? I didn't realize I could get that nationalistic over gymnastics.

That Shawn Johnson ain't bad looking, either. She's only like 4'10. We need to set Luis Yanez up with one of these gymnastics girls, they're the only ones shorter than him. :D

There was nothing wrong with the scoring in the bout with the Chinese guy. I think some people are crying foul just because its a Chinese boxer and he won. That same boxer fought to a razor thin 13-13 countback with Lomanchenko at the Worlds and some people are already saying the only way he will win is by help from corrupt officials. Also not to get to much into it, but Gymnastics has a video review form of judging, so I dont see how they were or could try to screw the American...but thats another issue!!

With the scores they were giving. The Chinese could do no wrong but the smallest mistake an American made was penalized. Either way, that ref had cautioned China multiple times and didn't have the guys to take points.

No, I'm crying foul becuase I watched that dude hold his opponents for about 10 of the 16 minutes he's boxed. I'm sure he held Lomanchenko too.

Ya but that has gone on in many bouts where the boxer has been cautioned and nothing has been done, not just with the Chinese. And if he held Lomanchenko in Chicago why wouldnt the ref taken away any points there?

I love watching the African fighters as sloppy as they may be, they always swing for the fences and never stop fighting.

My point was, do you think Yang just started holding in Beijing? It's obviously a large part of his "boxing" repertoire.
