Well I long doubted the rumours - well, well, well.

No short of scandelous.

Khan vs John Prescott at £15. I've never missed a PPV since owning a Sky. Even purchased Klitchsko vs Byrd II, Tyson vs McBride and Bennett vs Earl - but that is rediculous for the price.

I suspect a court case before this fight takes place..... You surely cannot back out of a deal with Setanta like that!

Oh NOOOOOOOO

Warren's back with Sky. Fecking disaster, I've thoroughly enjoyed his poxy shows being absent from Sky.

Maybe one little positive thing to come out of this....Murray-Khan should be easier to make, but what's the betting Warren does his usual 'drag it out for all it's worth'.

Sky clearly are not demanding standards from Warren either. Athur-Cook masquerading as a world title fight, Audely Harrison fullstop  , Khan versus god knows who :o

To better days.

I'm excited by this fight

One thing about South Americians is that they rarely read the script' i.e come over, looka bit decent and then fold'

This guy has been fighting roadsweepers and cab drivers and went the distance with the only person who had a devent looking record on paper. However, he is 5'11, a career lightweight and has stopped all but two of his opponents. Now depending on his punching technique, this power may carry up to the higher class and lets face it, Amir Khan isnt excatly Hagler in the chin department

None of us had seen Ricardo Torres before he got Cotto and he was only a couple of bodyshots away from winning in the 2nd, imo..

He could be a bum, but I like the mystery. That being said, I'll be damned if I'm droppingn £15 to watch it

I don't think this fight will be easy, John Prescott is a tall fella, plus there has been a few Colombians lately who can bang a bit at any level, there Massua, and the chap that hurt Cotto as well.

'Could be'? What do you mean 'could be'??!

When theres a whole batch of lightweight contenders out there, even those in Amirs own country, and yet once again Frankie steers well clear and plucks a total unknown for the job. Think we all know the formula by now.

He looks good -- on paper. Peter McNeeley looks good 'on paper'. So does Brian Nielsen.

As for box office, well done guys. Back to 1996-2005, no boxing on terrestrial, sharp drop off in interest from casual sports fan, small numbers of hardcores the only guys who can actually 'see' the fights. Well f#cking done Frank & co.

I dont blame Amir, hes just gonna follow orders, but this is a bad move. Whats the matter? ITV demanding quality match ups? 'Forget that, straight back to Sky!!'

More likely to be Kelson Pinto than Ricardo Torres - and even that's probably being very kind to a fighter who has ZERO decent wins on his record. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable when it comes to boxing, but even I said 'who the fornicate is this guy?' when I saw Breidis Prescott as Khan's debut PPV opponent. What a farce. It's not even like this Prescott fella has any ridiculously high rating with the WBO. He's not rated by anybody. Why then? What is so endearing about this Prescott guy? I don't get it.

Not a cat in hell's chance I'm ordering this pile of shite.

I think Sky have really, really made a bad call here and are going to be extremely surprised when it comes to how few people are willing to pay to watch this.
Much like many others have stated, I won't be touching this with a bargepole.

I just don't believe Khan's got much of a fanbase and he's just not a big enough pull to carry the promotion on his own. If he was up against a Gomez-type character that will allow the PRs to 'sell' the fight to a wider audience I'd be more inclined to believe it'd get a decent number of buys but as it stands I think you're looking at an absolute flop.

All being well Setanta use the money they have saved on Warren and put it towards getting more matches from the US and backing Haye.
It'd be great if Khan got KO'd in his first fight on Sky, really fornicate everything up.
