A Bowe defense against a then-hot Oliver McCall was mooted after he blew out Jesse Ferguson, but never came about.
Both men were in such good form at the time, i think its impossible to predict what might happen. Like Bowe/Lewis, its hard to visualise how it would of played out.

Bowe had a solid chin and wouldn't be vulnerable to getting bombed out like Lewis or Seldon. And McCall never 'outboxed' anybody . . I favor Bowe outboxing and outworking McCall in a 7-3/8-4 workmanlike decision.

I think Bowe wins a good decison against McCall. Like others above
have said, I doubt that McCall shocks, Bowe with his big power
shots, and Bowe at most stages has enough ability to keep working
for a win.
