They're a little bit behind schedule, so that's good for those who had forgotten.

Come on Big Dave! :TU:

pitiful showing by the big lunk in the other corner, considering it was the Olympics.

Can we run a count on the Price's Right headlines?

I thought BN missed a trick with Price Is Right headline.

You're one cynical dude, MW. 8)

Seemed a genuine injury to me although a bizarre one. Having torn my thigh playing football, the last thing I'd want to do is hobble around and let some behemoth tee off at me! :D

Fair enough Ian, it wasn't me in there! Just seemed to give up a little too quick, with so much at stake, I thought he'd at least try for a haymaker off the ropes before giving up - Danny Williams style!

Me too, to tell you the truth - he must have been done in. Should have attempted a last ditch flying headbutt, pushing off his good leg.

Yes he doesn't look pro material at the moment for me either, but if he stays amateur he'll get a decent pay deal anyway, and with a bit of other sponsorship deals he should earn a good living, so he may not turn pro.

Was a bit of a dissapointing end to his fight, but a win is a win, plus he'll be nice and fresh for the semi final. Its going to be hard for Price against Cammaralle, but the big Italian isn't unbeatable.
Thought that Rivas who lost to him in the 1/4 finals showed some good moves and power, think we might hear from Rivas in the pros.

I'm not knocking Price either, i just think he would be better suited to the amateurs at the moment, and was pointing out that he may not need to turn pro for financial reasons with the sponsorships about.

Depends what you mean by very well Teddy. The Heavies is hardly stacked with high quality talent on the British and European scene right now. I could see Price doing well at this sort of level. World Level is another matter, and it's hard to predict how far most Heavies can go without seeing them take a big punch without the Headguard on.

I tipped Price for a medal, provided he got a decent draw. He then went and landed himself the worst possible draw on paper! Yet he will be bringing a medal home with him when he returns.

Camarelle won't be easy.
I see Price fight him 2-3 years ago, and the Italian beat him pretty convincingly.
Price has improved since then though and the Italian didn't look too great in the ring today against Rivas.

I thought Price looked too clumsy and limited previously but do think he has looked good at the olympics. It all depends on his ability to take a shot. I have seen him put over twice - by a black welsh guy I think and I think an Indian guy. His head looks a bit small for a heavyweight....

With regards to the fight against Camarelle - you have to remember Price will be very fresh, having boxed only 4 1/2 minutes total....

I think he has a very good chance against the Italian. I thought the Chinese guy looked pretty decent....

Bit of a cheap medal - if Price goes home now he is an Olympic bronze medallist having boxed just over 4 minutes. One slightly ropey stoppage and then the other guy injures his leg.

I hope Price goes on to score a decent win the Semi now as it feels a bit hollow at the moment.

Any reason why they don't have a bronze medal box off in the Olympics? Seems a bit stupid that two people get a bronze.
