missing a fight for featherweight Ad Zapanta

The database for Ad Zapanta doesn't show one of his fights at the LA Olympic Auditorium. Zapanta was an exciting bomber although he didn't win very often. In that fight, his Mexican opponent (whose name I can't recall for the life of me) finally figured out that Zapanta's weak area was his mid-section. This occurred after both fighters went wild and crazy with head hunting shots for several rounds. The guy began targetting Zapanta's belly and knocked him out with body shots. But what was that fighters name and when did that bout occur? Can anyone help.
