I've seen Monkey - it's hilarious! From the 60's though I think which is way before my time even though they had some quality progs like Stingray, Thunderbirds, Man from Uncle, Invaders, Lost in Space etc

Much better than Reno Mulleto Raines.

Nothing wrong with the preist out of Monkey. It was really a woman after all ( I hope  )

Hmm... perhaps we should put an end to this slightly homoerotic conversation.

Yeah in the end it was revealed that she was a woman, much to monkey's relief as he on occasion had been finding himself strangely aroused by the tranny priest.
Hence the phrase "spank your monkey" :o

monkey was magic. :D
wasn`t the priest`s name tripitarka (or something like that) and
the other two`s names were pigsy and sandy.
the ending music always seemed a bit sad, it did back then anyway.
the water margin wasn`t in the same league as monkey, far to political.

You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Honestly, how can any of you sleep at night?
You talked about 80's tv without mentioning the mighty TJ Hooker, or the wonderous Chips. Will we ever see the like again?

God no!! There's nothing i hate more in my tv veiwing than dodgy 'taches or Don Johnson.
It'd just be nice to see the true classics get their dues. Dukes of hazard for example was a almost a work of art.

Oh yes you can't beat the Dukes. Starsky and Hutch eat your heart out.

Out of interest I do believe there have been recent films made of both these series. Has anyone seen them?

Monkey Magic was a classic,  many times i can remember me and my brother belting each other with our old ladys broomsticks that we had made into monkey magic staffs. The alltime classic from the early eighties had to be The A team but with all those special affects and all.
