Huamono Vs Couser

Post by Sweet P »

Should be a good matchup, I think Couser will be a tougher fight than the Argintinian. Haumono needs to be in shape as Couser has been in with some really good fighters.

Damm. This guy is even worse than the Argentinian.

Surely Haumono has more desire to be better in the sport.

How long can the joke go for?

And Do Boxa promotions have any visision what so ever?

Solo, is better offering someone like Rahman some big money. I don't think he will do to bad at all in such a fight. Both will get tired by 4 rounds.

Couser can fight his record is decieving. He has been in with tough competition over the years. If Huamono is in shape he should get a KO in the early-mid rounds. If he isnt then Whop knows as Couser can punch.

this fights been on again off again for ages though...ill be honest id rather see solo fight couser than the argentinian...couser has been in with some names before. so he knows the drill and hopefully will give it a fair crack.

how the fcuk can austar charge more than foxtel though? thats weird...

also, im not a long term aussie so whats this sky channel all about?....ive got the full foxtel package at home so does this mean i can buy the sky channel ppv?

I had a chat to George Reno who just got back from picking up Cliff Couser from the airport ahead of the Haumono fight on Wednesday He said that when he came out of the terminal he got swarmed by people wanting his Autograph and shouting...... Mike Tyson, Mike Tyson.

I have seen a couple of Couser fights and he is dangerous early. He stopped Monte Barrett big time so he is not a taxi driver.

i'm surprised he's even here, i was almost gonna post a reply saying that this fight wont go ahead even at this late stage... thats funny people thought he was tyson. couser still tells people (and himself) that he and tyson are half brothers.

Why did you talk to him?

Hes responsible for some of the biggest mismatches in Australian boxing history.

And i also learnt Mundine may bypass Sturm, Winky. To Fight Danny Green again.

And you talked to him?

Exactly. A fight not one idiot wants to see again.

Hes already loaded. Makes no sense to me.

The only thing that does make sense is. "Mundine isn't playing with a full deck of cards". (If Sturm isn't his next opponent).

I totally agree, Couser will be dangerous early and if Haumono isnt in good shape he may KO him. This is Haumono's stiffest opponent so far and we will get an indication to were he is at. If he wins easily he will be ready to step up.

Hes coming off 5 losses in a row mate.

Have you been paid to promote the fight?

but what ben says is right....this all depends on HOW haumono wins, of course losing isnt an option-if he loses he should just hang up the gloves...if he blasts couser out early in style then it shows us that haumono might just be for real.

if couser even manages to take this fight to the scorecards its gonna look bad for solo.

as for solo not being in shape i dont know whether thats possible...the guys always ripped.

I saw Cliff fight live twice in the states and in some cases reading a boxrec record does not = fight form.

We'll see what happens.

And yes we are promoting the fight and promote every fight that comes down the pipe.

This fight has got nothing to do with how Haumono wins.

If he wins through a first punch KO. America won't care. The other heavyweights won't care. Mainly the boxing organizations won't care.

Haumono is to good of an athlete for a champion to randomly give him a shot. His power means theres to much to loose.

This fight = Overpriced.

2. It gives Solo no decent US exposure

3. It doesn't help his rankings!

With Solos age he needs to work his way up through the rankings.

This does neither!

I have seen Cliff fight live from the States aswell.

Hoppa would destroy him!

Maybe you should as that guy, why Haumono is fighting these guys. And Why Mundine isn't fighting either Sturm or Winky, and why hes fighting Green again?

Because he may be a nice guy. But hes damaging our sport. Whether you like it or not! Friends or no friends!

Mate i dont hold back if i think something is wrong, Im normally the controversiol one on here.
I honestly think it will be a decent fight while it lasts. Im not convinced of Haumonos chin and i know Couser has KOd Barreett who is a step above Haumono.
I hope Haumono KOs him early as it will show he is on the level of some of the better fighters in the states. If it goes the distance then Haumono wont look to good. Its a risk for Haumono at this stage of his career IMO.

Look at there last 5 opponents each

Haumono

Tommy Connelly 17-11
Seiaute Mailata 8-6-1
Mosese Kavika 16-15-2
Oscar Talemaira 3-8
Alex Mene 2-6
All wins

Couser

Monte Barrat 32-6
Johnie Whit 18-0
Chris Arreola 22-0
Cedric Boswell 26-1
Tony Thompson 30-1
All loses

I wonder how Couser would have done against the top list?

Okay cool.

I just don't think saying that guy at the airport is a great guy is right (Boxing Terms). I mean constant Mundine mismatches, which im pretty sure, he is behind. Only diminish the sport of boxing in this country. And its a serious waste of talent and natural ability, that any other ordinary joe would wish for.

Ill take your word for it then.

But if this guy comes out, looking terrible. And solomon throws a wild overhead right, which knocks him down and then KO's him. Im not going to be impressed. Considering Haumono probably wouldn't throw such a punch against decent opponents cause hes always left open.

But theres no way you can appreciate Mundine vs Green 2? Especially when Winky and Sturm are right there to fight!

?

P.S Hes the match maker, of both am i correct?
