He's 17

If he stays amatuer until Bejing, he's hardly going to be too old and decrepit to have a pro career (aged 21...)

Don't worry, I'm sure Khan will be matched on a careful upward progression of tough trial horses followed by capable ex champs, then a contender, inside 15 or so fights before he is ready for a title shot.

Nowt wrong with Khan's progress under FW's umbrella.

He will have to cut off the reins at some point and find where he's at in world class terms. That's where we will know more about him. He is never going to be given over to longevity in the sport - more of a navigated fruition of the talent.
