Against the Cuban Jarrod Fletcher fought like a pro & had a good kit of punches. He looked way more suited to the paid ranks. I hope someone picks him up.

agreed, and he didn't run like a scalded cat. The biggest problem, apart from the scoring, that i saw with the boxing at the olympics was the willingness of the fighters to run and hide when they got what they believed to be a winning lead. That just won't work in the pro's. Habits can be hard to break.

I can't stand watching that and I stopped watching the olympics after I think the first week because of this tactic. It's not boxing, you're on the world's biggest stage and you want to show your abilities in sprinting? No thanks.

As for Fletcher, I had read that he's going pro once he was finished with this year's Olympics. I'm really looking forward to that.

I think Mahoney and another boxer were retiring.

would like to see pitt have a crack at pros, his style more suited to paid ranks.(IMO) but it always seems that way with the bigger blokes. zappa has done ok though.
