My latest dream - Sprott v Skelton
My latest dream - Sprott v Skelton
Skelton gets disqualified in the 7th round for persistent rabbit punching. And what's worse he doesn't look too upset about it either.

Sprott should be able to outbox and make Skelton look cumbersome and clumsy.

kilburn, you have just jinxed this fight now, whenever you dream about a fight it gets cancelledKilburn wrote:Skelton gets disqualified in the 7th round for persistent rabbit punching. And what's worse he doesn't look too upset about it either.

They both seem like nice blokes, so I won't be overly bothered either, but I'd prefer Sprott to win as I think he deserves it more, I mean what is the world coming to when a K-1 fighter can stick on a pair of boxing gloves and win the British Heavyweight title in 13 fights.
I think it is going to be a hard nights work for Sprotty, but I reckon he wins it on points

The more I look at this the more it seems clear that the only way Sprott can lose is if his stamina lets him down. He's going to see every punch Skelton launches so a legit KO loss looks highly unlikely.
Still, watch for Skelton to start fast and fight rough in an attempt to take something away from Sprott early. It's his only real chance I feel.

I dreamt of Hamed vs Barrera II for the IBO Featherweight championship (in America).
It was all Barrera, Hamed was getting anhilated (whering blue trunks aswell). Hamed was going down regularly and hurt on several occasions. He shows great courage but was getting outclass....
Then, a huge corkscrew right when Barrera is going for the kill puts the Mexican down and looks out. He picks himself up on 9 ala Shannon Briggs and surives the 10th and 11th and comes back to win the 12th (again with Hamed down twice - not flash KD either).
Amazingly the scorecards was only a split decision for Barrera, but Hamed's bravery and that fact he had Barrera alarmingly in trouble meant he was back in demand and Barrera vs Hamed 3 was going to be negotiated.

Yes, I was worried if there were any gay undertones to the dream.
I also had one (really vivid) that Tyson KO'd Holyfield in 1, but this was after beating Lewis in the 8th round (prior to their actual contest). The fight was actually going the exact way of my dream (Tyson looking spent) but, he did find that one punch from somewhere.
My mother had a very vivid dream about a David Gray winning a prestigious snooker championship. She didn't know the tournament, I follow all sports but when this dream occured I had never heard of a snooker player named David Gray. Did a bit of research and found out he did exist.
Since her dream (which was about 2 years ago) we have been putting a £1 each way on him winning every tournament that he's entered in. We are still in the black with him and he's now a top 16 player. I think he's somewhere between 80-100/1 to win this years embessy.
