Alan Mortlock - What do people know about him
Just about to read his book, did he promote or is he still promoting boxing? I know he's got an MMA show coming up. Good guy?

Is that every 'hardman' in England who has written a book now, or are we still missing a few?

Met him a couple of times at his unlicensed shows and he seemed a nice enough chap.
Don't really see the fascination of "hardman/crime" books to be honest unless it's about the guys at the very top of it all.
Try a book about Pablo Escobar is you like reading about villans.
Try a Geoff Thompson book if you like reading about regular guys that can have a fight.
Try a Chopper book for violence and story telling.
Seem's like anyone that has had more than 3 or 4 bar room brawls starts penning their life story these days!

MORTLOCK IS A GOOD FELLA I BOXED ON A COUPLE OF HIS SHOWS AT THE CIRCUS TAVERN AND I EARNED A FEW QUID. HE WAS ALWAYS STRAIGHT WITH ME I ENJOYED THE TIME I HAD ON THEM SHOWS AND AM THINKING ABOUT HAVING A COUPLE MORE
