I watched some of the fight. Once more I noted how pathetic he is. I'm glad I couldn't understand his retirement speech because it probably would have made me physically sick.

I was wondering the other day, does anyone think that there has ever been a judge at an Ottke fight who was determined to score the fight fairly, without prejudice, and despite the luxury care and attention given to them by Sauerland? There have been a few SD's, but of the judges who scored the fight for the opponent, how many of these arranged to do so just to make the scores look close, and how many were actually genuine, do we think?

well, i suppose there's no real way of knowing.

maybe the judge who scored the mitchell fight 116-112 in favour of mitchell, if only there was another one of them at ringside

Strange, out of all Ottke's "wins" i thought he clearly won the Mitchell fight i had it by 9 rounds to 3 in Ottke's favour, i still maintain i would have loved to have seen the Mundine fight reach the end as Mundine had outboxed Ottke and dropped him but at the same time been deducted 2 points for a headbutt, it would have been interesting scoring.

Come on chaps, Ottke was as graceful as ever. As great as ever. God, I miss him.
