Re: Haumono - Couser RBR
nah, it changed to 200 lbs awhile ago. I thought the conversion was 1 kg = 2.2 lbs, i must be a little inaccurate.unleash06 wrote:86.2 is cruiser, topp. i think they have a few super cruisers floating around at moment.

Re: Haumono - Couser RBR
cool mate. ANBF still have 95 kgs as super cruiser with chondros as champ. tuasa, vea and a couple other blown up cruisers/small heavies are listed as well. young bloke from echuca is just starting out, he's not bad.toppity wrote:nah, it changed to 200 lbs awhile ago. If you want to convert from KG to lbs, then you can use Google.

Re: Haumono - Couser RBR
Quick simple conversion:
Double kgs + 10%
Double kgs + 10%
Re: Haumono - Couser RBR
Thanks to Adam and Ultimate for doing the RBR. The pub I usually go to to watch fights isn't showing this one tonight :(

fcuking horrible display from solo...jonny lewis is a dick. why wasnt solo standing back and using his reach advantage? solo is so unexperienced he let couser draw him in to a street fight.
michael moorer KO'd couser in 1 round FFS

Wouldn't quite go so far as saying JL is a dick.adamheight wrote:fcuking horrible display from solo...jonny lewis is a dick. why wasnt solo standing back and using his reach advantage? solo is so unexperienced he let couser draw him in to a street fight.

Re: Haumono - Couser RBR
nah i know JL is the man!!!
just kidding
but solo fought the wrong kind of fight from the 2nd round onwards...maybe JL told him and he didnt listen im not sure...but solo needed to keep distance between he and couser and instead he got drawn into a street fight and it looked terrible for him.

Imagine Couser had 6 weeks to train, He did well considering he took the fight last week. Hopefully he stays out here as there are some good fights for him in this country.

did u watch ben? what did u make of round 5? u give it to couser? do u agree solo fought the wrong fight?ben k wrote:Imagine Couser had 6 weeks to train, He did well considering he took the fight last week. Hopefully he stays out here as there are some good fights for him in this country.
Re: Haumono - Couser RBR
I had it 79-72, Thought Haumono fought the wrong fight, He is to passive and it will cost him as he steps up. He could have taken Couser out in the early rounds but got drawn into a hugfest and brawl and is lucky he didnt get dropped in the 5th round. I thought after the 5th that Haumono might get KOd but his chin held up well.

Re: Haumono - Couser RBR
i agree with all that...solo needs to go back to the drawing board. im not saying hes not gonna reach the top, but he has a lot of work to do...i wonder if hes too heavy? coz he was blowing like he just finished a marathon from round 5 onwards.ben k wrote:I had it 79-72, Thought Haumono fought the wrong fight, He is to passive and it will cost him as he steps up. Re: Haumono - Couser RBR
Round 1 : Soliman comes out with some big power punching. Cliff seems as if hes going to go down. (From memory Cliff goes down), gets up early, and is counted to 8. Cliff continues to get hit with some big rights from Solomon. Fighting from the outside Solomon is far better and more powerful.
Round 2 : Solomon continues to dominate from the outside. Cliff has already surpassed Barry Michaels suggestion of it not lasting past 1 round. After 2 minutes, Soliman weirdly tires. Totally unimpresses me. Hes a great talent, but he should be able to last a lot longer than this. Cliff begins to draw Solomon to the inside. Solomon is definetely not as good on the inside and Cliff lands some big shots. Solomons round again.
Round 3 : Fight on the inside. Soliman getting tired now. Punches are very weak. Seems to lack some good body punches on the inside. Something needed to work on. Sols round.
Round 4 : Solomon fans go silent. Mundine goes silent as the commentator. Cliff begins to land some decent shots. Definetely Cliffs round this. Once again its fought on the inside, something Jeff Fenech would have loved (Random). Soliman seems very tired. Cliffs Round!
Round 5 : I didn't think it was possible for Sol to get more tired. But he has managed to in the ring break. I have watched Sol for every ring break, and he hasn't drank any water what so every, not a ml, i suggest he does for future fights. But towards the end of the round Solomon lands a few big rights and takes the round. The fight is getting rather sloppy now.
Round 6 : Same story, on the inside, and Solomon landing a few clean punches to win the round. The fight has gone downhill since the 2nd. Cliff seems to be waiting for Solomon to punch himself out, and it might just work. Sol looks very tired, the poor fella. His head is down.
Round 7: Solomon finds a second wind. Well not really. But a little bit of energy. He lands a nice left to the body. And a nice right hand upstairs. Enough to clinch him the round. Cliff is getting some support from the crowd now. He seems like a humble fella, and hes definetely giving it his all here. Solomons round like every other one but the fourth.
Round 8 : The fight is scrappy on the inside, until one minute to go. Barry Michaels seems to be exaggerating Solomons performance, probably because Solomons promoter, is commentating next to him (Choc). With 1 minute, to go, Solomon says thats enough, im better than this, and he loads up, and he tries to finish it. Cliff is about to go down. But with 15 seconds, Sol looks to have punched himself out. Both clinch. And the fight ends. Both seem very humble, and a good sign of sportsmanship.
Overall i will be honest. I though Sol could challenge for a world title soon, but i don't think he can. His power is awesome don't get me wrong, but his stamina and conditioning is poor. He needs to get smarter. He needs some water in the breaks. Hes getting another opponent from overseas Mundine said. Barry Michaels said a Cliff rematch, man i don't know what hes smoking tonight. (He had about 10 minutes to interview Mundine about his next match, all they talked about was Crazy Kims power
).
So the big news tonight is. Mundine vs Peter Manfredo Junior in November. Or Kassim as 2nd option. But were pretty sure its going to be Peter, since Peter called him out after he beat Mccrary last wednesday night.
Lenny Zappa is without a doubt the best performer tonight. I know its a big call. But his career will be great. And he will be in the US soon. There is simply to much power there. His body shots are perfect. His lead right is awesome. Im a big fan of this kid. And im going to get my uncle to sponsor him.
Hopefully some vids will be on youtube fellas!

Re: Haumono - Couser RBR
Ring rust and lack of quality opposition is why he was gassed. He needs to have another fight in the next few months of equal or better quality. He seemed to get his second wind in the 7th and 8th round and didnt look as tired as the 5th and 6th round. I would like to see a rematch especially if he did have a virus like they were saying before hand.
