Richard Williams looked "absolutely awesome"...
At the Belfast weigh-in today, according to SecondsOut.com. He scaled 10st 13lbs. Defending IBO champ Sergio Martinez scaled 10st 13 1/2lbs.
Brian Magee also made the weight comfortably at 11stone 12lbs (and 12oz), while Jerry Elliott, in his first fight at super-middle (well, he had a super-middle fight a few years ago, but then dropped back down till now), tipped the scales at 11st 13lbs.
Over 4,500 fans will be in attendance at the legendary King's Hall tomorrow night. Should be some night.

When some kid asked them for autographs Richard duly signed and Wayne pulled out a photograph card of himself with his euro, brit and southern area titles and signed it for the little lad...
The kid asked why Richard didnt have a card and he was like "i havent got enough belts yet, havent got as many wayne....."
really good humoured guy

Come on Richard !!!!!!!!!
'Fraid not. mate. Claude is in the States for three weeks, so Danny gets the trip to Ireland. I suppose I could make my own way over. If ever there was a fight venue worth visiting, it would be the King's Hall. Not even Eusebio Pedroza would dare enter that venue against McGuigan - and he had fought all over the world.knockout artist wrote:Are you going Bennie?
