Never thought i'd say it, but enjoying this, Ruiz has come out throwing big shots, shook Valuev with a right hand, then Valuev came back with a exchange.

Ruiz has been harshly judged throughout his career - look at his cv, better than most.
I've been trying to tell you all, Ruiz is lovable, just open your hearts.

3rd another good round by Ruiz, he really seems to be trying to prove a point here. Valuev landed some good jabs, but i feel the overall better work was by Ruiz

4th to Valuev, he got his jab working well, stopped Ruiz setting himself to throw the right hand

Well the 5th was more of the same, Valuev using his jab and size to keep Ruiz under control, Ruiz did land 1 good left hook, but not enough.
It was another round of Ruiz not holding again, he really is trying to make a point, but will he be able to keep it up, its a big change in workrate by him

This must be what watching a donkey sex show feels like.
You don't know why you're watching it, you just can't stop yourself.

I take it back, Ruiz had a better round in the 9th, but it wouldn't be enough to win the round away from home.
Still have Valuev in front, but its by no means over

This is awful commentary. Apparently you can't win the fight with one punch and one of them doesn't understand the point deduction rules.

I now like the ref, he deducted a point from Valuev, then russians corner kicked off at the end of the round, and then the ref made sure the judges knew he had deducted a point. good reffing.

Last round coming up, Ruiz needs the KO to win for me, the way Ruiz has fought tonight, he may just go for it. He's gone up alot in my opinion tonight

Good fight that, i never thought i'd be saying that. Ruiz was entertaining, good Ref. Valuev showed he has one of the best jabs in the heavyweights.

Who thinks Valuev is the biggest, scariest heavyweight that they have ever seen?
Re: Valuev vs John Ruiz on NUTS TV Sat 9pm
He's one of the biggest I've ever seen, but I don't think he's very scary. Before watching him fight for the first time I thought he was very intimidating. After watching him fight, and much smaller guys trade with him, he's not so intimidating. Certainly none of the guys at the top of the division will find him scary.MR UNTOUCHABLE wrote:Who thinks Valuev is the biggest, scariest heavyweight that they have ever seen?

Frig knows where the split came from. I was in shock as Buffer's read out that first scorecard. I had Valuev winning 117-111. And I think he has the best jab in the heavyweight arena - even better than Wlad's. I actually can't wait for Chagaev v Valuev now - I think the big man might win a split. He's certainly come on leaps and bounds since their previous fight.
