Anyone going to the MEN on Saturday?
Anyone going to the MEN on Saturday?
Anyone going to the MEN on Saturday from Boxrec? Drop me a pm if you fancy putting a face to a name and having a beer.
I've bought a pair of £50 tickets (we couldn't justify spending more than that based on the quality of the bill, sorry Frank). Really looking forward to Arthur-Cook. You can argue whether they are truly world class but I think this has the makings of a great domestic fight.
I also think far too many are quick to write off Prescott's chances. Yes, he looks very raw and he's beaten limited opposition, but if he can find Khan's chin...
I'm also looking forward to seeing Vassell, Belew and Stephen Smith in the flesh. I guess like Dooley I'm sad, too.
Cheers.

I'm going, but i'll be going straight into the MEN, then leaving as soon as the Khan fight has finished. Unless you're planning on having a (warm, overpriced, piss weak) pint in the stadium, then I guess i'll have to pass!

Jeez it's the attack of Steve Irwin's flat barbed sister. I guess it must be a holiday down there.

26 - would be good to see you and buy you a pint. PM me your number. I can't imagine a man on your salary will be sat in the cheap seats
. Actually, maybe you should get me a pint then it will truly be like old times
Kevo - I'm heading straight to the MEN for some piss weak ale. I want to get their early on the off chance they upgrade my £50 ticket to a £100 one. This has happened to me a couple of times before, the last time was when Calzaghe fought Bika. Feel free to pm me your number mate. I'll be in block 115, I think.

that about sums my attitude to the night up. a bit disappointed with the femi-foster and audley-rogan cancellations but thats life. didn't really fancy another smith-bendall boreathon anyway.Ben Carey wrote: Really looking forward to Arthur-Cook.
