Has latest stiff for Hatton been announced yet?

Post by MightyWarrior »

I thought the big announcement  was scheduled for yesterday?

My local mini cab firm got a call last week, asking if any drivers could boil down to 140 in the next month or so - coincidence?

I think he is boxing someone from the IBZ Regional, world ratings.Did someone say that the public is being fleeced and that Hatton and his paying public is being milked for all his worth?

Henry Bruseles is being mentioned too, with Mike Stewart's name cropping up.

Thhe favourite as I understand it is (unsurprisingly) Henry Bruseles.....followed I think by Omar Weiss.

Yeah, Stewart call himself "No joke" but he was so slow in the Mitchell fight it was a joke. Matt Skelton punches faster than Stewart.

I don't think Gatti wants HATTON too badly, he's more interested in a mega-fight with Mayweather somewhere down the line. In the meantime I think he's happy to defend his undeserved belt.

Henry Bruseles? What the fu...? Why everytime an opponent for Ricky is rumored or announced I have to look up his record to see who the hell he is? The entire top ten of this division is well known to everyone who knows anything about boxing and it can't be that hard to get one of those guys to fight Hatton. Not Lovemore either, he's not top ten and Leija is too old so not him. Come on Frank give us a decent opponent. No more Aldo Rios's or Pedersons.

i saw brussels

Brussels is a power puncher. He likes to fight inside and throw short hooks. His fight vs Negron a while back was a war. He got dropped coming in, but got up to drop Negron three times. I would like to see him fight Hatton, just because I saw him fight before.

N'Dou would be a great fight for the fans because he fought Mitchell evenly. Stewart just got dominated, so for Hatton to fight him would be a joke.

I just don't like ricky hatton's because he's bloody ugly. want to smash his face with the ugly stick, but somebody beat me too it.

maybe he's the best Manchester has to offer. Feel sorry for the ladies, but that's why they leave town on the weekends I suppose.

Hatton used to train in that basement only because he was so ugly his parents made him stay downstairs during business hours.

That's a bit out of order - this is boxing, not modelling.

Anyway not nearly as ugly as you'd luck after a couple of rounds with Ricky!

Well Lovemore N'Dou seems to have given up on trying to get Hatton into the ring, realising that Frank will never take such a risky fight.
He is set to face Cotto on May 8th in what should be a great fight.
Cotto is really showing up Hatton here, more so if Hatton's TBA turns out to be another no name palooka.
We'll see....

I know an opponent who is available to fight ricky Hatton on 5th June. His name is Junior Witter. But, I doubt it will happen, just like Hatton- Mitchell, Hatton -Cotto or Hatton -Mayweather won't happen.

A real shame as any of these fights would be good.Especially though, I would like to see Junior Witter get his chance at Ricky Hatton, because quite frankly, I think Junior will beat him.
