Don't think so Steve, he's been around for 20 years or more, and I've never heard him say much at all, nothing "risky" anyway.

In fact, the only comment he makes on the subject, is to jump in on a reader's letter, critisicing Khan going Sky/PPV, to say something along the lines of "to be fair, Hatton built up a great following on Sky..."

They slate Warren and he won't let them into his shows for free, and then two thirds of their fight reports have gone - simple.

I say f*** Warren, I'd even pay to get in and sit in the cheaper seats to report fairly on SN, rather than kiss his arse because if he gets upset he throws his toys out of the pram.

BBN can't get into his shows, it's a joke.

If warren pulled the plug on ringside seats for boxing news because of an article he didnt like then BN would be free to show the public exactly what he his - all the readers (and most likely warrens customers for tickets and ppv's) could make up their own mind and support BN.

I am really disappointed that BN has failed to give this issue exposure as it is clearly the most talked about issue in British boxing right now

Exactamundo! If they do lose their press credentials at SN shows they should do a BIG piece informing the readers that they were taken away for daring to criticise Franky

Boxing News did criticise SN a few years back and Warren's people, Andy Ayling etc gave Claude and co terrible seats so they couldn't do their jobs. Seats behind pillars etc.

Claude did respond by tellling his readers about the situation and there was weeks of arguements in the form of letters going back and forth between BN Towers and Warren's office. Claude printed all the letters and it made interesting reading for a few weeks. This must have been around 2002 or 2003.

Looks like BN have faced the issue head on (well, on the face of it anyway). This weeks front page of the BN shows Amir Khan with the headline IS HE WORTH IT?

ps - I thought BN was £2.70

Their email circular also proclaims Claude addresses the issue head on.

As I said, I did suspend judgement until CA was back in the chair.
