I think they could have carried on discussing Khan for hours  Glenn Mcrory was the most blunt/honest in his assesment of how difficult the future will be for khan. Jim Watt generally laid the blame at khans padded path to date.

Show started at 9 and ran until about 1145 I think.

What was the news from Macklin last night??? I'm aware he won, but was he good??

What next for Macklin, another couple of easy fights and than a world title fight (one of the lesser titles,WBO, warren's favourite!) at the end of next year??

moved and worked very well for 8 rounds - real good movement.

then it looked like Richie let him off the lesh for the last two rounds and Macklin went hunting the stoppage - nearly came was held for half of the round

Cheers sligoboy, great to hear it. Although I've no connection with Mackin for some reason i really like the guy and hope that Brian brings him back over this side of the sea for a big fight.

I'm sure with him the main headline and someone like Murray supporting, it would defo be a sell out in the stadium.

No news on Murrays next fight?? He must surely be on the next Peter's card

Who is Macklin trained by at the moment? Is it Richie Woodhall?

I thought that Macklin had been training in America under Buddy McGirt - did that not work out?

macklin used to be a pretty heavy drinker, it's well known. I know it's only one instance but in one of the episodes of Hatton-Mayweather 24/7, they go into Matthew's hotel room where a very hungover macklin gets ice thrown over him to wake him up
