What boxing sites would you recommend?
What boxing sites would you recommend?
This is a question I ask periodically because I always get the feeling I'm missing out on something on the world wide web.
Is there any boxing site you feel is worth visiting?

fornicate me Bennie, if there's any sites out there you don't know about, then I fear there is no hope for any of us.
compuboxonline.com -
excellent for fight analyses, aided me in predicting Jones Jr's win over Ruiz, when I was going to go for Ruiz, when they pointed out Ruiz' very low workrate.
totalaction.com
Very good for bringing together all the best stories of the day, has even featured some of mine, which of course endears me to them.
cyberboxingzone.com
probably the most authoratitive forum in the world, but sadly not very active, but an excellent resource for world boxing.
http://www.vivi.com
A boxing game with a very entertaining and engaging forum.
maxboxing.com
of course I am biased, but it is excellent.
I think really that although there are a hell of a lot of boxing sites, most of them really ain't all that good.
Despite what has been said about eastside, there are some writers there I really like, Frank Lotierzo is excellent, and there's another American guy I really like whose name escapes me momentarily.

Yeah, I used to be a big fan of CBZ, but they seem to be dying a slow death at the hands of sites with interactive forums.jamesmcdonnell wrote:lots of stuff I'm too lazy to repeat. ;)
Frank Lotierzo is one of my favorite boxing writers - alas, his talents are largely wasted over at ESB. He deserves better.
For the ESB crowd who are unable to post the latest gossip on Vlad's poisoning or Golota's robbery at the hands of ByrdMan, I suggest boxingaddicts.com .

One of my favorites too, but Charles Jay has now joined IBOP; so his daily links are now on their site http://www.ibopboxing.com/
Other sites I’m sure U guys already know about.

There is also a Canadian site called "La zone de boxe" that covers international news but more specifically Pro and amateur boxing in Canada. For those who can read French: http://www.lazonedeboxe.com
I won't comment on it for I would be quite biaised. ;)
