Betting Help. Haye vs Maskaev

Post by zeroprobe »

Hi guys,

I had an accumulator with bet365 and one of them was David Haye vs Oleg Maskaev

1 Sergio Mora @ 1.80
2 Nate Campbell @ 2.87
3 Joel Casamayor @ 3.75
4 Ricardo Mayorga @ 7.00
5 Vitaly Klitschko @ 1.66
6 David Haye @ 1.22
7 Kelly Pavlik @ 1.25
8 Roy Jones Jr @ 3.50
9 Jermain Taylor @ 1.15
10 Paul Malignaggi @ 3.00

It was 9 out of 10 to win. Now this David Haye fight is not scheduled to happen at all. So what will happen to my bet? Do I have a chance of riniging them up and changing it before any of the fights happen?

I reckon the entire bet would be void and you'd have to remake it with the same fighters and the additional bout

If the haye fights doesnt take place, they will just void that bet and the money in on the rest of the fights so all is ok

Agreed, the Haye bet will just be removed from the accumulator and you'll be able to pick up the rest of your winnings

Are all of the other fights unfinished?

It's irrelevant. Mayorga is 7-1 for a reason.

Up until this Sat, yes. It's really annoying we don't get the MNarquez fight as we'd have the Mora v Forrest rematch on the undercard.

Dave, I'm going with Mayorga. I've heard Moseley is a bit punch drunk now.

Hi Loft? Why are you saying that when you clearly don't have a clue? This is a simple issue and it occurs daily with multi bets. If the fight does not take place, then that part of the multi is void, but the rest will remain. It is likely that there will a date by which the Haye fight must occur by, before being deemed void.

The 'To Win' calculation is for information only and all bets will be calculated using the stake/risk at the odds accepted. In multiple bets/parlays with a void selection(s) the 'To Win' figure is reduced accordingly.
Bets on postponed fights will stand for 30 days. If either fighter is replaced with another fighter all bets will be void and stakes returned.
Quotes from the Bet365 website, looks like it will be treated as void and the winnings reduced accordingly.

If the David Haye fight doesn't happen the bet should instead be

8 fights out of 9
instead of
9 fights out of 10. ??? Is that right ??

Would I get even more of a return if I got 9 out 9 correct?

I'd imagine that he'd have had to put on 10 different bets (10 * 9 fight accumulators) with one of the 10 fights missing from each bet, so if all 10 fights came in he'd have 10 winning bets

Still fancy Mosley to box his nicaraguan ears off.

That sounds right. To cover 9 out of 10 would be 10 seperate bets with Haye a Non runner in each of the 10 bets :TU:

So 9 out 9 (excluding Haye) would give a maximum payout (all bets), but 8 out of 9 (excluding Haye) will only pay out on one bet line.

For the sake of British boxing's credibility in the US, I hope Calzaghe wins. I think he will.
I really hope Pavlik wins. Again, I think he will. Hopkins is going to be really annoying though.

Think you'll come unstuck with Guzman though - I'd back him to beat just about anyone at the moment.
