Carl Froch?
Carl Froch?
Sorry if the reason for this is common knowledge - have not been on here for a while, but does anybody know what is going on with Carl Froch? I know he had a knee injury a while back but I thought that was operated on successfully prior to the Rybacki fight? Four months now since then and still nothing scheduled in for Carl which is most disappointing when he should be fighting for a world title at Super Middleweight. At this rate he really looks at risk of losing all momentum and is still unknown to the public. It's a shame considering his big personality (like him or loathe him) and I thought he would make for some genuinely exciting fights in the division.
Re: Carl Froch?
It's looking like Pascal VS Froch for the vacant WBC belt, venue and date TBC

Ah here we go, he writes a column on his own website so I'll have a read back through that. Funny quote here:
"Speaking of people protecting their records, I hear Denis Inkin has suddenly recovered from his Froch-induced yellow fever. He is fighting his stablemate Karoly Balzsay in a WBO eliminator fight. My mum is called Carol too and I bet she'd smoke the pair of those clowns. I still hope that Inkin finds a way to win and then at some point I get to bounce him off the canvas on behalf of all my loyal fans who waited twice for him to turn up. Somehow I don't think he will though".

Genius comments, hope this happens as someone who travelled all the way from Southampton to see Frotch vs. Inklin only for Inklin to shit it!johnswan1 wrote:Ah here we go, he writes a column on his own website so I'll have a read back through that. Funny quote here:

Carl is a terrific fighter and doesn't duck anyone. He is more deserving of a world title shot than anyone else, on the British scene especially, and I can't wait to see it happen.

Re: Carl Froch?
I like froch and his fights. its really frustrating that he can't get his career moving. I hope he starches Fruit Pastille and then drum up some interest. Unfortunately I don't think he will be able to, and is doomed to be one of those avoided single beltholders who has to fight mandatories and doesn't have enough clout to get the unification fights.
Re: Carl Froch?
Happy days.
I cna see Big Carl being the WBC champion before the year is out... Happy days, indeed.

It would be a shame if Froch can't at least reach the level Woods did, because I think he's easily better than Clinton. Course, hardly anyone could've handled Roy Jones that night in 2002.
