Shame we're not going to get this but given the choice i'd rather Campbell v Guzman.

How do you see it going? I reckon Marquez has a fair bit more left and seemed a lot less blown up at Super Feather than some others. Could be a very tactical fight and they are two of my favorites.

I find it impossible to back against JMM (he's smoother than a beauty therapists flange), so I'm picking him to outpoint the wily Old Casamayor. I'm tempted to invest some of my hard earnt on a JMM UD, but the odds are 1/2 so I might give it a miss. However Guzman is 4/5 to outpoint Campbell, so I've HAD to back him as it's nailed on

As much as it sickens me to pick against my favourite current fighter*, I think Marquez is going to lose Saturday.

El Cepillo's shiftier than a fox & can still take a great shot -- wasn't the Katsidis fight the first time since the disputed Freitas knockdown he'd been put on the floor? -- & at some point you just know he'll headbutt/elbow/flying drop-kick on the ref's blind-side, busting open the Mexican's many, many scars.

If Marquez was fighting Katsidis or even Juan Diaz, I'd go & lay money on him right now despite the age gap, but not against movers/fellow counter-punchers. Wonderful stylist, & when you go to him & try & brawl he stitches you up, but I've just got this feeling Joel's gonna stop him on a cut; I also think Marquez might be looking past him a bit.

On the bright side, should he lose, I think Pacman -- post Oscar -- might actually fight him again...

I think Casamayor will win this fight too. Also reckon Nate Campbell will outwork Guzman. Going to stick a few quid on each.

I think Marquez could win big here. Despite his protestations, Casamayor is clearly on the downard slope. I think the Cuban might have been the most underrated fighter if the last 8 years or so, but I think this could be the end of him.

And the thought of this weekend's 'semi-finals' setting up Guzman -- Marquez whets the appetite just a little.

Marquez is quite a bit fresher than Casamayor, and is also a great technical fighter. I think Casamayor has a chance, but let's not forget he was all over the place against Katsidis before getting the win, he also looked shit in his previous fight.

2 Intoxicating fights here, Guzman-Campbell is the most interesting and exciting fight of the year for me. I've been rating Guzman as P4P no1 since Floyd left, and see him as a once in a life time talent in many ways. Campbell really proved himself against Diaz, Kid Diamond and Casamayor, and he has the skill, ability and workman like quality that is reminicent of Bernard Hopkins. He'll be the best and biggest fighter Guzman has come up against but Guzman just looks too talented to beat by anyone, although his lack of workrate will see him lose rounds

Caza-Marquez - another great P4P match up. Casa has looked on the slide in his last 2, his workrate and sharpness has dropped. Marquez though doesn't fight at an insane tempo himself. Casa will be very hard for Marquez to land on, he's not the easy predicatable target Pacman can be and Marquez doesn't look good against defensive slick fighters. Marquez defense for me isn't that good at times so he will get landed on clean. Pacquaio vastly outweighed Marquez on fight BUT looked small and weakish against Diaz, who admitadly is a bull of a 135lber. In their primes Casa wins this based on those advantages but hes slowed down so that makes it closer. I really see this 1 as a toss up and even if Casa should win it 7-5 he probably won't get the decision because Golden Boy want Marquez-Pacquaio 3, so given that I'd put money on Marquez UD
