Anderson is a true prospect (unlike Gary Young). When they're having to import eastern bloc opponents for him, you know British rivals don't want to know.
John Shep and Gilmour will guide him correctly and probably blood him on the Commonwealth scene first. I don't think he'll disappoint.

didn't see him, tuned i too late. Caught the end of the Barry Morrison fight, even from what i saw he didn't look all that, and i think i heard Adam Smith say he was in more trouble earlier!

From what i've seen of Anderson he seems pretty good, but still hard to say how far he will go. I dont thionk he's anything special, if he's handled correctly, and there is no reason to think otherwise, then he should be able to be competing with the best of british within a year

Not fighting anybody so will av 2 wait an see.Hes fighting kids with 4 and 5 fights and doing eight rounders with them, since wen are kids 4/5 fights eight round fighters.Also always late notice

I caught the action today and I have to admit I was a little dissapointed in all 3 of the prospects on show. Anderson won okay, and perhaps his opponent was respectable (I didn't catch his record). However, I just think he looks open and doesn't have that wisha washa side to side that I like to see with come forward fighters.

I think we have learned from Alex Arthur (sorry McCoy for brining up the Scots) and Gary Lockett (there you go a Welshman) that it is way to early to say he's going to be a world champion. I have to say I was more impressed with Lockett and Arthur when they were at this stage.

Yes there have been a few "prospects" touted for world success and have failed to get past British level...we should be more cautious i future as it is not only ability that is needed at the highest level. Determination, grit, heart etc are all required.

He looked good. Energetic, enthusiastic, good variety of work...a lot to learn but he seemed as if he knew that and when someone says "They are their own worst critic" you know they have their head screwed on, to some extent.

How can you say that Anderson has been fighting youngsters with a handful of fights??? Check his record! Nearly all of his guys are tough foreign guys, his last two eight rounders were against good opponents with over 20 fights each, and in his second fight he took on a guy who was a light-middleweight with over 21 fights and only 6 losses!!! Get a grip pal.
Let's see some of the other so called prospects take on some of these foreign guys instead of the homegrown journeymen. It's one story fighting the homegrown guys cause you know what to expect, but try fighting the foreign guys who no-one has wanted to fight, total unknown factors, it's a different story all together.
