Barack Obama has slipped from being the next president of the USA ... to being over shadowed by a totally unknown woman from Alaska.
I never did like the look/sound of Barack .. too Tony Blair for my liking... all bluff&bullshit.
James DeGale winning Olympic Gold .. and Frankie Gavin not even being able to make his own weight category.
My fingers are crossed that DeGale isn`t cursed like our last two medal winners.
He needs a good promoter who will develop him away from the hysteria, so public expectation isn`t a burden .. and even more importantly - he doesn`t develop the Audley/Amir arrogance.
Get him on the undercards of the small hall shows 1st .. if he has the tallent there will be lots of time to reap the ticket sales etc.

I raved about the kid as loud - if not louder than anybody whilst he fought in the Olympics.
Sadly his popularity went to his and the people around him head .. he turned into an arrogant arsehole of a bloke.
I have spent yesterday evening and this morning reading the general opinions of his KO.
There is little sympathy anywhere for him .. and more worrying is that he is as deluded as before.
The re-run on Sky lastnight confirmed what alot of us here had been saying for awhile .. he couldn`t take a half decent shot.
Prescott isn`t world class .. he too is work in progress .. what he did have was a decent punch,natural lightweight size and ambition .. 3things Khan had never faced.
Those who say he was caught cold .. the punch would have ko`ed any lightweight .. he only needs to tighten his defence to come back stronger are clutching at straws.
Facts are that he cannot hold a shot...he was wobbled by a jab
He has tremendous heart and good skills .. sadly he lacks any sort of chin. He gets back up but his legs are always gone. I honestly cannot name such a young hyped prospect who had such a bad chin .. Christie wasn`t as hyped as Khan.
Watching the re-run last night made me think if only Audley and Amir had something of each others attributes.
