4 Euros for a frickin pint *isn't* stupid?

Where I come from, the only place you'd pay that much for a beer (I don't care how good it is) would be in a quality strip club, with some hot chick waggling her fine-looking p*ssy atcha about a foot from your face. But then again, here in the U.S. gasoline is cheaper than milk, so I suppose all countries have their own idiosyncrasies.

Americans also seem to pasturise their all of their food about a million times, resulting in everything tasting slightly less interesting than cardboard, charge a small fourtune (relatively speaking) for fresh fruit and veg, eat meat with lots of 'marbling' *shudder* and have no idea that beer is a live product that has to be stored in a certain way (although bottles are always fine) and do a whole host of other things that really mean that no American should ever comment on food and drink. Or at least they did a few years back when I stayed.

Of course, they also invented Makers Mark and Jim Beam, and so are excused on all counts. :D

That is true, and I'm a guiness drinker
Really though it's just the English stuff in my experience, I've had French guiness and it was just like it is back home
