Response to twentysix
With regards to your comments and concern regarding Jamie Moore.
Jamie Moore himself is up to date with everything that is going on and is well aware of the issues.
The September date was agreed by all parties at the end of July but due to the Olympics no press release was put out.
As soon as the Olympics were over and our press man returned an official release was put out from our office confirming the date (as we had an existing contract in place from the original date of December 07 which the EBU have upheld even though Team Baysangurov have tried to have it cancelled).
Our agent Philippe Fondu then corresponded with team Baysangurov for the names of the travelling parties so we could get the show on sale as we had been hearing rumours regarding team Baysangurov.
For all the doubters I had negotiated a TV as it would have been financial suicide, the Ukrainians were given until Friday September 5th to submit the names for travel and to confirm they were coming as we felt we were being given the run around and they were informed we would be lodging an official complaint with the EBU.
Over the weekend our agent Philippe Fondu received a medical certificate from Team Baysangurov which we have since acted on and ourselves and the BBB of C have made representations to the EBU with regards the situation and we are being told the EBU will consider all aspects at their next meeting.
Until then we as well as the fans are in limbo land.
There is no fight we can announce at the moment re Jamie Moore as we do not want to jeopardise his position and as stated earlier Jamie Moore is well aware of the position and is quite happy at the way his management and promotional team are handling things.

Re: Response to twentysix
FTM,
I don't understand what you mean in the 6th paragraph re TV.
Are you saying this was definitely slated with Sky ?
If so, why did Sky never publicise it, but instead formally announced a Sports Network bill the same night ?
It is refreshing for a Promotional outlet to respond, so thanks for that.
I must stress that as a Jamie Moore fan, I was and remain desperate for Moore to get his chance.
My worry is Jamie remaining active.
The Healy fight was nothing more than a training session for Jamie, at half pelt, and from what you say, Jamie won't be fighting again until this Euro fight takes place.
What are the chances of Baysangurov being stripped ?
If he is will Jamie automatically fight for the vacant title ?

FTM,
What is your response to the post under "Jamie Moore Press Release" that Baysangurov and his advisors never signed a contract for a fight on the 26th ?
If that is accurate, why did you announce the fight, then have to advise everyone a few days later it was off ?

Wales,
I don't want to go on and on about this, so will you just answer me one further question then I will shut my big gob.
If there was a TV Contract for the fight, who was it with ?

Re: Response to twentysix
As said in my response to you mate, I only do a bit of writing every noew and again. I have no knowledge of the behind the scenes stuff at FTM or VIP. Sorry mate, I'll ask the question on Sunday if nobody responds by then.

Re: Response to twentysix
Thanks mate.
The confusion has arisen solely because FTM is contracted to Sky.
The 26th was allocated to Wazza.
The fight could not go ahead without TV - so 2 + 2 = ????

Re: Response to twentysix
This kind of thread shows precisely the reason that promoters are wise not to respond to direct questions.
This kind of debate can go on forever and all kinds of awkward questions can be posed. It's not that promoters neccessarilly want to hide things - sometimes there are business issues that cannot be revealed.
Wellington - in this respect - acts very wisely.

Twenty Six - FTM is being quite open and honest so why do you keep sniping. If you want conspiricy, dishonestly and a lesson in being a lying cheeting slimeball - look no further than your mates Coldwell and Rhodes.

Re: Response to twentysix
Twentysix has fallen for all the Hayemaker spiel about fighters taking risks, whilst defending Rhodes for turning down a Bradley Pryce fight to fight Jamie Coyle

Re: Response to twentysix
How weird is that ?
Boxingxhat defending Maloney when I'm actually saying something in support of the crap that Wazza gets ? Have you moved from Brentwood ?
The man who suddenly surfaces having totally ignored the Calzaghe threads.
As for the snipe at Coldwell / Rhodes - shock horror.
Two more people who've had the audacity to move on from Wazza.
Emma - this thread has nowt to do with Kel Brook so why are you posting ?
Beagle nice try but how many more times, I ain't rising to your bait.
