Warning - Campbell v Guzman change of channel

Post by chinny »

Just looked at my sky guide and wondered why the fook I had Bordeaux v Marseille on to record in the middle of the night. Quickly realised Setanta have moved the fight to Setanta 2 and an earlier start of 2.30 (rather than 3)

Would have been seriously pissed off with that

Guzman for me by decision but Campbell is a strange bean, he might upset the odds here.

Thanks for the channel heads up though; I'll be sticking on the hard drive and watching it the next day. These late nights aren't for me anymore :DDD

Yeah, that was just wrong.

Weight dehydration needs to be banned.

At least that kind of dehydration. I remember Gatto putting on 21lbs and knocking out Joey Gamache(?) and Gamache taking him to court because of the unfair weight advantage despite the fact Gatti made the contracted weight.

Where would Hatton be if he had to weight the same as his opponent on fight night?

Hatton has been heavier on the night that everyone he has fought and that includes Collazo!!

So no title on the line for Nate/Guzman - shame as I was sure Guz would win this...not so much incentive for him now.
So the greatest trainer of alllllll time, roger mayweather, brings his man in over the limit...the man's obviously an amateur!

Gatti didnt make weight for that fight, he jumped un the scale, was over and downed a load of gatorade immediately. Hatton was about the same as Tyszu/Collazo on fight night, I think Tyszu was heavier

Very unprofessional of Guzman camp - speaks volumes about Floyd Snr as a trainer IMO. Mind you he'll blame it on the conditioner - call me old fashioned but isn't a trainer's job to get his fighter in shape?

Well, they said Gatti made the weight.

Not sure about KT but he was 2lbs more than Collazo on fight night.

Yeah, they did say Gatti made the weight.... and they changed the law (for Gatti alone). I thought that was a bit harsh.
