Opponents for Dynamite Dean and James Hare...

Post by bennie »

Undercard to Jason Cook-Kevin Bennett taking shape: Dean Phillips takes on lanky former Commonwealth lightweight champion Michael Muya and James Hare v Jason Williams. Both are eight-rounders.

Useful. He bust the nose of Kevin Bennett and finished on top in a gruelling fight. Seemed unfazed at fighting away from home, too.

I haven't decided....help me out. I want something upbeat this time. The welsh anthem didn't go down well. I wanted to wait and walk out with the chorus, but Sky wouldn't have it.

Any suggestions?

He'll have a job busting my nose; it was busted years ago and you could hit it with a sledgehammer now and I wouldn't feel anything.

Gareth Jones called your anthem "pretentious" in Boxing News, which really was the pot calling the kettle black. He's always proclaiming how proud he is to be a Welshman and the first to moan if a Welsh town is misspelt.
What a plonker.

fast, some of the lyrics are appropriate as well

I'm on my way. Can't settle down.
I'm stuck in ways of being an ass and I got a lot of nerve that I'm
ready to pass.
I'm on my way. I'm on my way.
Can't settle down.
I'm stuck in ways of sadistic joy and my talent only goes as far
as to annoy.
I'm on my way. This is my main offender.
This is what I've got and it got me saying - Why me?
I'm on my way. I get around.
But I'm not all too sure about what I do.
I feel I've got to stop a second just to think it thru.
And so I stop! I'm on my way.
Yeah I get around.
Yeah I thought it all over and now I spit it out
and when I spit on those that I care less about I'm on my way.
This is my main offender.
This is what I've got and it got me saying - Why me?

If I'd have been allowed to come out with the chorus, then I think we would have had some of the crowd singing along, but when Sky say you gotta come out..you gotta come out!

I have no idea, but will be interested to see if all goes to plan. I hope it does for the sake of the show. It wouldn't be fair on Bennett if his fight had to be called off again.

"it's real_deal's name for his dilz" - what the hell is "dilz"? Am I missing something.

You're wearing the colours of your local soccer team, Dean. "Football's coming home" has a good beat and you are at home after all.
Just a thought.
