not sure how many of you have seen this much talked about KO, but hell, maccarinelli was completely out of it.

Thanks for posting that. Had never seen it before. I'd always assumed it was just an out of the blue knockout, but Swaby was actually giving Enzo the runaround in that third round. He looked like he'd sussed the big Welshman out there.

Really brutal KO, though. Enzo was GONE.

Apparently, fellow Swansea man Colin Jones, doing some ringside work for BBC Wales, was giving Enzo the big build-up when the knockout came.
It shouldn't happen to a TV pundit.

Thanks for posting that Rhino, wanted to see that one for an age :TU:
Seriously doubt SN would ever has posted that on their site..

Enzo was being touted as the next HW champ in Wales at the time, so was a real shocker to read about in next day. You can see why they were hyping him up, he looks a pretty classy puncher by domestic standards, until he runs out of steam in the 2nd.

Out on the razzle the night before, apparently.

Ahem, I text you about it young Man.

Story goes, I asked Lee if I could have a copy (as far as I'm aware, no copy exists on DVD) and he pointed me in youtube's direction.

I then spread the word off the forum, as I was concerned it would be removed.

Enjoyed the incest joke btw, best one yet!

Gutted I taped over my copy of this... the commentary was funny.... stunned silence for Colin Jones who was hyping Enzo beyond belief before hand.

Jones is a good commentator though, shame he is not plugged up by Sky/Setanta.

Enzo really didn't know the basics at this stage... well even when he was knocking on the door at domestic/European action (e.g. Gary Delaney fight and a few other WBU title defences) - his jab was really poor for such a big guy.

But against Swaby, he was boxing like he hadn't "found" his natural stance... what with that little jib about 5 seconds before Swaby lands the shot.

just my opinion, but i reckon swaby's finest hour was the first fight with mark hobson for the british title in huddersfield.
put hobson down twice and was then cut badly between the eyes and lost his momnetum. still only lost by a point. brilliant fight.
