Anthony Small...?
Is this guy as big as the shit that he talks? Or does he talk all of that to make up for the lack of substance in his game?
I am curious about this fighter.

Re: Anthony Small...?
In case you are wondering, I am an American, and thats why I dont know much about him.
Re: Anthony Small...?
got skills just not as good as he thinks he is, got done by Bradley pryce in a tear up.
Re: Anthony Small...?
yeah! too right, if he could fight as much as he talks he would have been world champ by now,

Re: Anthony Small...?
he was also on the us vs uk contender card, he can punch a bit and from all sorts of angles, although very easy to hit!

Re: Anthony Small...?
Hecan look great, or he can look ordinary, if Small is not on form against Curiel then an upset isn't out of the question.
Re: Anthony Small...?
I thought this fight was taking place last night but can't find the result anywhere - anyone know how he got on?
Re: Anthony Small...?
Having the same problem. Boxrec states it was last night and Sky are showing it on Monday. Maybe it's been delayed.
Re: Anthony Small...?
BN said the Sky broadcast was a delayed showing - the only thing I can think is that because it was a 'private' dinner show it's taking longer for the result to 'seep' out.Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:Having the same problem. Re: Anthony Small...?
If it takes too long I'll try my luck asking Mr Fearon.

Re: Anthony Small...?
Good win for Small - especially in light of the job Curiel did on Minter. Small should rematch Bradley Pryce next.

Re: Anthony Small...?
Small will beat Pryce in a rematch imo, and altough he's obviously not as good as his mouth.. he has got very good skills, but has his let downs too, can't see it coming to much though.. i feel it will be a case of somewhat wasted talent when its all said and done.

Nonsense - he trains hard and doesn't live life badly...but he's not good enough at world level.HairyBoxe24 wrote:Small will beat Pryce in a rematch imo, and altough he's obviously not as good as his mouth.. he has got very good skills, but has his let downs too, can't see it coming to much though.. i feel it will be a case of somewhat wasted talent when its all said and done.

Crap RJJ impression fighter.
He would be better served to fight his own style - he is no RJJ or Ray Leonard -he wont win a World Title, imo.

Re: Anthony Small...?
Agreed, Curiel is no great shakes. Small has a big mouth and average ability. He'd get beaten again by Pryce IMO.DG. wrote:Crap RJJ impression fighter.

Re: Anthony Small...?
A big light middle at that
Re: Anthony Small...?
That was the best I've seen 'Sugar Ray Clay' box, he dominated the fight from distance and his previous stamina problems didn't surface their ugly heads. I look forwared to seeing him in with the rest of the British 11 stoners
Re: Anthony Small...?
He's good, I was rediculed a bit in a thread that said which fighters would I sign if I was a promoter... and I mentioned Small (after the Pryce defeat) think he has alot of talent and could make European level. Ultimately, I feel his reflexes/chin is not good enough for World level - but I think he could make the likes of Dzindiruk look silly for a few rounds.
His interviews are cringworthy and he sounds like he has been punched in the bollocks all the time.
