VERDICT ON HAYE OPPONENT -- JD CHAPMAN

Post by overhand_right »

A big white club fighter from Arkansas with a Don Steele, Brian Nielsen, Peter McNeeley type 29-0 record (all bums)

KO1, anyone?

What a let down.

If Oleg or Hasim didn't fancy it, and Toney was a bit ambitious for a heavyweight debut, there still was Monte Barrett and Jameel McCline and guys of that ilk.

I think this is a terrible, easy pointless fight. Sorry guys.

PS i'm aware that this fight increasingly looking off, but still, JD Chapman? Worryingly weak choice of opponent.

I'd love a game guy like Barrett who'd come in shape and to fight to get the job.
