Terry D wrote:You give Matt four clear rounds. So the rest must be even or they would be clear. .
i meant those 4 rounds couldnt even be disputed, even by that gobshite of a ref, round 2 could have been a 10-8 round he dominated that much

so that leaves 6 rounds to be contested & that plonker gave 5 to edwards, which equals a load of bollocks

im over critical when my mates box, so much so that if a round is close i will give it to the opposition & there is no way on earth Edwards won 5 rounds

i just hope it dont piss mat off too much and he carries on, you got bear in mind he aint doing this for the money and if he is getting screwed over he could sack it off

When I asked him how good he could be, what are his aims?

He simply replied "To be the best fighter I can make of myself and never to leave anything behind" - very refreshing answer.

Thanks for all the comments etc, i feel very hounoured when logging into boxrec and finding my own topic with lots of great comments etc makes the hardwork worthwhile
I have only just managed getting access to my computer as i have been away in dublin for a few days(after i visted when watching moorsey i have wanted to return nice place) since the fight as i felt i deserved it after all the hardwork in training etc(even thou i looked like i had been boxing edward scissorhands!!).
After returning i have had chance to watch the fight and feel i did deserve the desicion, by a couple of rounds, i feel my shots where the more telling, the workrate and pressure which i put from the first bell plus i did make lee edwards miss more than appreciated (Mr dooley shud spend more time watching the boxing closley than drinking granpa's cough medicine he he) but i am not crying over spilt milk and that is just my opinion.
I felt the point deduction was a little harsh as i was not warned and it was accidental as i slipped on the canvas. I couldnt understand how i was cut through my left eyebrow needing 5 stitches in only the 2nd round and then under the right eye needing 4 stitches by lee's head but no warning was given??
Im glad the fight was as enjoyable for u lot watching as for me being involved and can honestly say i loved every 2nd as again it was a great main event for a V.I.P show which i think are great value for money.
yours sincerly
