Has Matt Skelton having won the British Heavyweight Title in his 13th fight set a record for a British Heavyweight?

Jeff Fenech won the Oz title in his 3rd fight and the IBF in his 7 fight, thoses were the good old days

Horace Notice won the British heavyweight title in his 10th fight.

True. Audley famously said he could win the British heavyweight title in five fights, but it soon came back to haunt him.

And lets not forget the great Azumah Nelson won the Featherweight Title of Ghana in his 3rd fight as well.

Actually I think I've come across this fighter before (in an article somewhere) with reference to the Floyd Patterson V Pete Rademacher fight.
But this dudes name is a toughy to remember!

Michael Holden won it in 11 or 12 fights. The British heavyweight scene is abysmal at the moment, cant recall it being worse.
