Rhodes on top in round 9 but Coyle is boxing to survive a bit now. Would like to see him last the course after this effort.

Round 12. Good call from Gareth, looks like it's going to the cards. Coyle has given a monstrous effort although Rhodes has established a handy lead.

The scorecards read:

Rhodes 120-109 Coyle
Rhodes 118-111 Coyle
Rhodes 120-110 Coyle

Richie Woodhall 118-111

:TU: Steve689 card = 114-114 Rhodes retains on a draw

Coyle is no tomato can or bum. Why are you showing such disrespect?

Because he has beaten absolutely nobody and has been knocked out by clubfighters in two or less rounds. What should I call him? A nice person, who has chosen boxing as his profession, but is not very good at it. If it makes you feel better. Certainly doesn´t make my wallet feel better, that Rhodes is a scrub, too.

Good hard fight,Rhodes could have made it a lot easier though.

Hell of a fight, very entertaining, really enjoyed it. Having said that Rhodes should have had Coyle out of there, but didnt. Coyle is tough but hes not that good so why didnt Rhodes stop him. Rhodes won most of the rounds and got a clear win, so fair enough, but you just feel he fell just a little short of his full potential. Lovely man Ryan Rhodes, a champion and a true gentleman.

Thought Ryan was really poor last night.

Shame but perhaps after starting so young he's ran out of fights.

Coyle was just brave, he didn't look at all physically fit.

I reckon Ryan will lose when he has to face a mandatory. Who is there? Smalls, Hall.

I reckon either of those two could have done Ryan.

His trainer sounded desperate around rounds 6,7,8!!
