Kessler was beaten, but not that convincingly. I reckon he earned another shot.
As for Froch, that would be a huge domestic fight. Admittedly Froch is not proven at the top level, but he is a hell of a lot better than Manfredo, Ashira and some of the other turds that Calzaghe has fought.
The buzz pre Froch v Calzaghe would be amazing. Jones v Calzaghe just does not do it for me.It is a fight that has happened at least 7 years too late, perhaps more.

Tarver - Another old man with less marketability than Jones jr
Dawson - Probably a very competitive fight but outside of boxing circles, who knows his name? No-one in the UK anyway
Bute - Beat another no namer to confirm he is the best at super middle again? Yawn
Taylor - Beat by Pavlik so would hold no appeal for the fans or Joe
Pavlik - Personally I think Joe would outbox Pavlik who seems to be fairly one dimensional, "jab, jab, big right and repeat until necessary". IF pavlik beats Hopkins then I think the clamour for this fight will be even bigger and more money can be made, Joe WILL NOT turn down another massive payday. This is the fight that people believe Joe could loose, so I think this would bring out the best in Joe ad be a great last fight.
As for Jones Jr - One of the biggest names in the sport ever. A great talker with massive marketability. He looked good against Tito, even though it was a mismatch in many ways he had that characteristic Jones Jr swagger and showed some great flashes of brilliance. Watching that made me remember just how good he was. He will come forward and he will be quick - it will be a great spectacle, far better than Calzaghe v Hopkins. Yes I would be surprised if Calzaghe lost, but as long as the fight is good to watch then ill be happy that eventually I saw the fight Ive been asking for, for years

What if things start to go wrong for Joe in the fight, and RJJ turns back time and puts on a masterclass (stranger things have happened) Joe will be going back to his corner to listen to his old man effing, blinding and shouting. With no instruction !!
Anyone remember the Hopkins fight? at the end of the 9th or 10th (cant remember which) it looked like Joe was struggling and Enzo is having a fit in the corner, just shouting and screaming at him. It was Powell who then said something along the lines of 'don't just shout at him, tell him how to do it' and proceeded to give JC proper instructions. Enzo just stood back and took a gulp of water.

I've never rated Enzo as a trainer, great fitness coach and cheerleader, but no trainer
